The speech-language pathologist (SLP) is defined as the professional who engages in professional practice in the areas of communication and swallowing across the life span (ASHA, 2022).

About

Mariah Emery

Mariah Emery M.A.,CCC-SLP is the owner of Meaningful Intervention Services LLC. She earned her Bachelor of Science and was awarded her Master's of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Cincinnati. Mariah has presented research at national and state conferences on topics surrounding communication disorders in diverse populations. 

During graduate school, she gained experience working with children and adults in medical, private practice, and school settings. In addition, to providing direct therapy, Mariah also co-manages a staffing agency Integral Partnerships. Mariah has been successful in her business ventures. She coaches and consults clinicians on entrepreneurship
